Dear resident
You've seen the polls. You've heard the commentators.
Throughout this campaign, I've heard the frustrations people have with our political system and many of our politicians.
And I get that people are often frustrated with the Tories. There are times when I am too.
But I also believe that a good MP can make a difference.
And Birkenhead knows this better than most thanks to the tireless work of the late Frank Field.
That's why tomorrow's election is a choice.
Here in Wirral, the Council is led by Labour. The Metro Mayor is Labour. The Police Commissioner is Labour.
And, if the polls are accurate, then the next Government will also be Labour.
Only your vote can stop Labour winning a landslide.
Why does this matter? Because we know what happens when Labour wins big and has little or no opposition.
Just take a look at what has happened when Labour won a landslide in Liverpool. And Birmingham.
And to those who are still undecided, your vote DOES matter and will decide what happens next.
So, on Thursday, I'm asking for you to use your vote to stop a Labour landslide.
Because not voting helps Labour to increase their majority.
And voting for Reform risks handing Labour 100 extra seats.
Gifting Labour a huge majority – a supermajority – even bigger than Tony Blair’s.
A supermajority gives Labour the freedom to ignore concerns, overrule those who disagree, and change the rules to suit them.
Starting by giving 16-year-olds, EU citizens and others the vote so they lock in their majority for a generation.
That's what's at stake on Thursday.
Please do use your vote.
Conservative Candidate for Birkenhead and Bebington
P.S. Remember, not voting Conservative on Thursday risks handing Labour a blank cheque for a generation, leaving people without any voice at all.
